Besides the usual tasks of planning and building overhead contact lines, now and again we are pleased to be charged with other challenging assignments.

Avalanche masts

Particular configuration of foundation, mast, cantilever arm and insulation, which present as small a surface as possible to wind pressure and snow, and which in the event of damage can easily be replaced.

Insulation sets for bolts

In the case of DC tracks the current return path must be separated carefully from the ground and from the structural earth. Overhead contact line masts and tunnel supports must therefore be mounted with insulation. For this purpose we offer sets of insulation fittings that match up to standard bolt diameters.

Suspension safety link with release mechanism

Link elements that fracture at a predetermined overload prevent subsequent damage on adjacent components. We provide safety links to meet various nominal and fracture loads.

Mast number plate holders

For the numbering of the overhead contact line masts we provide a range of patented holders and number plates that are easy to assemble, remain legible for years, and in the event of renumbering can be replaced at any time.

Drilling and placement of threaded pins

For the drilling and placement of threaded pins up to M24 with accurately defined hole arrangements we have developed special drilling machines. These guarantee accurate location, with parallel positioning of the threaded pins, and a dust-free process thanks to the use of closed circuit water cooling. The equipment can be mounted on flatbed wagons. If the drilling is to take place before the tracks are laid dual-direction road trailers are available that are particularly suitable for use in tunnels.
