The first overhead conductor rails have been installed in Croatia in no less than three tunnels, two of which are so short that the conductor rail remains tensioned and is being fixed with two-sided anchors within the tunnel. The tunnels are located in the southern part of Croatia and are part of a freight line serving the harbours. The tunnels and their vaults being quite old, designing the overhead line was a bit of a challenge. The total length of the conductor rail section is 1.6km.
