We are delighted to announce that we are the recipients of the Phoenix Award 2023 for long-term entrepreneurship. We succeeded in convincing the jury with our entrepreneurial spirit, expertise, and innovative strength.
The award was presented to us by Carla Kaufmann, Vice President of the Swiss umbrella organisation for business succession (CHDU), in a ceremony held at our premises in Bern on 19 January 2024. We also had the pleasure of welcoming National Councillor Dominik Blunschy and Martin Godel, Deputy Head of the Promotion Activities Directorate and Head of SME Policy for the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), as well as various media representatives.
As the issuer of the award, the Swiss umbrella organisation for business succession (CHDU) recognises Swiss companies that have been successful in their succession practices for a century or more.
In terms of potential award recipients, the focus is on Swiss SMEs that have been in existence for 100 years in the year in question or were entered in the Swiss commercial register 100 years ago. The recipient of the Phoenix Award is chosen among these companies by an expert jury and an advisory panel made up of representatives from science, business, and the media.
