The Schönbuchbahn maintenance depot in Böblingen is made up of six tracks with rigid overhead conductor rails, one of which is retractable. We installed an automated switch-off and earthing system with interfaces to the washing facility, the underfloor lifting system, and a crane. In addition, the switch-off and earthing system also monitors access points to roof working platforms and fall protection flaps to ensure safety during maintenance work.
