Our StB-FL 100 suburban rail system is a flexible and versatile overhead contact line design intended specifically for urban transport systems such as light rail vehicles, trams, and trolleybuses. Developed to integrate seamlessly into the urban environment and meet the requirements of modern urban mobility.
Designed for voltages up to a maximum of 1.5 kV direct current and speeds of up to 100 km/h, the system offers a customised, high-performance option for the electrification of urban transport networks. The design with slim tubular cantilevers and cables made of high-quality synthetic material allows for visually discreet integration into the cityscape, with a colour scheme that can be adapted to the surroundings and design specifications.

The overhead contact line with pendulum suspension is a versatile system that can be configured as both a fixed-termination and an automatically tensioned single contact wire system. The support points are planned individually depending on the requirements of the project and the area of application, either with cross spans or cantilevers.
A line feeder is often added in overhead contact line systems without a messenger wire. This can either be integrated between the contact wires, or the cross-section can be extended by line feeders laid in the ground.
The overhead contact line with delta cables that are suspended from a pulley at the support points is a reliable automatically tensioned single contact wire that is optimised to meet your requirements. Similar to overhead contact lines with pendulum suspension, the support points can be designed with either cross spans or cantilevers. Line feeders can also be added here.
The catenary system of the StB-FL 100 utilises a contact wire and a catenary wire. The automatically tensioned contact wire is suspended from a fixed or automatically tensioned catenary wire.
The contact wires of the trolley bus contact line can be constructed as either a non-tensioned or a tensioned system, depending on the speed required. Both contact wires are designed as simple contact lines, without catenary wire. Depending on the project and area of application, the support points are planned and built individually with either cross spans or cantilevers.
