Together with a local project partner, we have successfully completed the electrification of the Katra–Dharam section in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The 82-kilometre route is part of the USBRL (Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link) corridor, which connects the Kashmir region to the national railway network.

The track renewal between Altendorf and Lachen involved updating the overhead contact line on the main line Zurich–Sargans below the Seestattstrasse overpass.

At Thun railway station, many of the overhead contact line portal structures had reached the end of their service life – some dating back as far as 1922. A breakdown would have resulted in the closure of all main tracks and disrupted access to the Lötschberg Base Tunnel.

After almost four years of intensive project work – from the initial development and design meetings through planning and installation to the final training and commissioning – the major EOLE (Est-Ouest Liaison Express) tunnel project in Paris is now complete.

We are pleased to announce the successful completion and putting into operation of the retractable rigid overhead conductor rail system (ROCS) at the Shakurbasti depot in New Delhi. This project represents a significant milestone for the Indian railway infrastructure and was realised for Indian Railways.
